WEEK ONE : SELECTION DAY

Hey up,
So we had our first day at BFI film academy, and it was the selection day to determine whether or not we will actually be on the course.
The first thing we did was some an introduction to the course and what it would actually include if we were lucky enough to be selected ( spoiler, I got on, YAY!) and then we did a few icebreakers to help everyone get to know each other.
Then we moved on to the actual task : making a 30 second or less stop motion animation film. We were split into groups of 5 and given a film genre to work with; my team received horror. We were then given mis-en-scene conditions of the following:
- Dave clown
-A cupboard
- A cactus
-'the sun is shiny bright'
Once we were given this information, we had 4 hours to create the entire thing from ideas to editing.
